Species: asian vine snake

Snakes of the genus Ahaetulla, identifiable by their narrow, horizontal, often keyhole or chevron-shaped pupils. Usually found with alternating light and dark "dash" markings across the body. Can be found in many colors, including blue and bright yellow, though green is the most common. Green individuals are often confused with the green_vine_snake, but are unrelated. Includes a large number of highly visually similar species.
